Transportation

Methods of Transportation

  • Public Transit — Airport to Downtown Express Bus: The Sheraton Centre Toronto does not have its own shuttle service. The Pacific Western Airport Express (Airport to Downtown Toronto Service) bus picks up on the Arrivals Level of all terminals and will take you to and from the hotel. All buses are wheelchair accessible and also have front kneeling doors for easier access. This is a 24 hour service. Fees: Adult one-way $15.50 / Adult round-trip $26.75 / Student/Senior one-way $14.00 / Student/Senior round-trip $26.75. You may buy tickets on-line and get a 10% reduction. For more information call Pacific Western Airport Express at toll free (800)387-6787 (in Canada) or (905)564-3232 (from the US).
  • Public Transit — Airport to Downtown City Bus: There is a city bus (TTC) that runs from the airport to the Kipling subway station which will leave passengers at the Queen Street station, one block from the Sheraton. Cost right now is only $2.25 and it takes about one hour — or about 20 minutes more than a cab or 15 minutes more than a shuttle bus (but you do have to wait for the city bus) [schedules]. Look for #192 Airport Rocket South on the Arrivals level of all terminals. Take the bus to the Kipling Subway Station. Take subway East to Yonge Street, then transfer South to Queen Street. Walk one block West on Queen Street to Sheraton (there is also an underground mall throughout the downtown, so you can walk from Queen Street station to the Sheraton underground).
  • Taxis and Limousines: Taxis and limousines can be obtained at the airport's Ground Transportation Center.
  • Car Rental: Budget Car Rentals has been selected as the official vehicle supplier for the Canadian Evaluation Society/American Evaluation Association Evaluation Conference 2005. For reservations at over 50 locations in the Greater Toronto Area including Toronto International Airport, please call (905)673-3322 locally or (800)561-5212. Prices start at $38.00 Canadian per day with unlimited mileage within Ontario for a new 2005 model Compact car. Don't forget to mention your exclusive rate code VCES.
